Event details:
- We’ve been able to raise over $12,000 for cancer research for the Jimmy V Foundation over the past three years. This year proceeds will be split equally between the Jimmy V Foundation, Holy Family Hospice, and the Connor Wokoun Benevolent Fund (an account to help provide for Connor's college education).
- We will provide food and soft drinks (pop, water, juice boxes). Please feel free to bring a side dish or dessert if you’d like. Alcohol is allowed but not provided.
- There will also be several gift baskets and a 50/50 raffle, so please bring some extra cash!
- You don’t need to play cornhole to attend, although you are encouraged to play and have fun. Donations separate from the tournament fees will be accepted at the event.
- This is a family friendly event, with activities for the kids.
Tournament details:
- Every person playing cornhole is asked to raise a minimum of $50. You can ask your family and/or friends to sponsor you for this great cause. There will be a special prize for the person that raises the most money. You can either bring cash or a check payable to “Kati Wokoun”.
- $10 of each entry fee will be put toward the tournament pot. Please bring this in cash so we can present it to the tournament winners. The first place team will receive 75% of the total pot with the second place team winning the remaining 25%. Trophies will also be given out to the top two teams.
- The event starts at 3:00pm, we ask those playing cornhole arrive on time so we can start the tournament timely.
- The tournament will be single elimination, and teams will be selected at random to even out the competition.
